The first Digital Incubator in Romania is launched in Cluj

Cluj-Napoca, so often called ‘ the city of Innovation’, hosted in June 2017 a new premier in the country: The opening of the first Digital Incubator in Romania. Launched within the Tetapolis science and technology park, the incubator’s job is to help develop, over a predetermined time, IT and Innovation start-up’s.

Carried out together with International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), UTCN and Cluj Local Council, the digital incubator already has four teams working and developing projects ranging from AI robots to medical equipment and IoT(Internet of things) projects. In the future, 30 more teams will soon follow.

Tetapolis’s digital incubator launch took place within the Open Innovation Conference 2.0, the European Commission’s biggest event dedicated to innovation and organized for the first time in Cluj Napoca, a first for the Central and Eastern Europe area. Our team at Vitrina Advertising was involved in the incubator’s launch through PR (Press release) and BTL (organization, logistics, catering)

The team involved in the project: Ioana Căprar – Business Development Manager, Raluca Crișan – Group Communication Manager and Monica Hojda – Account Executive.
